Introduction
How To Preview Font Characters
We are going to be using the power of the Zazzle editor to look at the characters within the font. In my template, each letter is its own text block. It is positioned under another copy of that letter, in a standard sans serif font, so you can always tell what the character is meant to be.

To use this template, go to this listing page on my Zazzle store. (Even though this is listed as a Zazzle product, you don’t have to buy anything to edit the template!)
Next, click the big blue button to the right, which will say either Edit or Personalise.
Then, make a rectangular selection around the 2nd row for each letter – in this case, the calligraphy row – and choose a new font from the dropdown list on the right.
NOTE: Sometimes the text objects may not immediately be selectable. If this problem is happening for you, add a generic object from the Elements tab on the left side of the Editor window. You can then delete that object, and selections will resume working as normal.
Repeat for each alternating row of characters in the template.
You can screenshot the template to have a permanent record of what each fontface’s characters look like.
I’ve also made a template for Swashes, stored in the Unicode Private Use Area characters range from U+E000 to U+E02F.
Conclusion
I hope this template helps you pick the best fonts for your Zazzle products! If you have any questions or comments, leave them below.
