Zazzle Ambassador Earnings Calculator

Description

In April 2025, Zazzle introduced the Ambassador program, which is a new way of calculating your royalty and referral earnings. It involves a lot of new variables and fees, which makes it confusing to know exactly what you’ll be earning, especially across four different promotion types.

I have created a Google Sheets spreadsheet that makes it easy to calculate your royalties and referrals. You only need to type in 3 numbers: your sale price, your royalty rate, and the department your product is part of.

From there, you will be shown the following results:

Marketing royalty fee

Excess royalty fee

Referral rates, for self-promotion or cross-promotion

Gross and net royalties

Referral commission

and Total Earnings, i.e. the money you will actually receive from Zazzle

When you purchase, you will receive a link to the Sheets spreadsheet. From there, you can make a copy or download it to use it yourself.
