Introduction
Society6 offers several high quality types of shirts and tops. But they don’t offer a template for this product. That’s a shame, because that leaves you guessing what shirt colours will suit your artwork best. But with this new template made by me, you can easily preview your art on all the shirt colours ahead of time.
Download The Template
This template a simple tall rectangle. It is in PSD format, with layers and folders. All the shirt colours are in one folder, and you turn the layers on and off to preview different colours.
You can either create your artwork right in the template, or paste it in later to check the colours.
There are currently 12 colours available across these six products: fitted t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirt, pullover/zip hoodies, v-necks and tank tops.
The template is 3300 x 5100 pixels in size, as per Society6 specifications.
The PSD is 70.1MB, which is kinda large. I’ve compressed it into a 20.7MB ZIP archive so its easier to download.
If your PC can’t handle a file that big, I’ve also made a Photoshop swatches file, so you can just fill your background layer with the colour you want to test (heathers have been averaged to a colour). Install the file by double clicking on it.
Swatch file is 1.15kb. Compressed to 635 byte ZIP archive.
And finally, if you don’t use Photoshop, here are the hex codes for the shirt colours.

Shirt Template in Action
I’ve just uploaded my artwork Impure: The Descent to Society6, and now I want to pick what t-shirt colours to use.
I’ll open the template, and place my artwork above the ‘colours’ folder.
I can now easily see that the Lemon coloured shirt will suit my artwork, while the Red shirt does not.
Conclusion
I hope this template will help you create some really great artwork for Society6. If you need any help, just leave a comment below.
If you need more Society6 templates, I’ve made a few others which you can see right here on my blog.
