Introduction
One of the benefits of Society6 over other print-on-demand websites is the ‘My Library’ area, where you can re-use image assets you have previously uploaded, saving you time in creating products. But there is a flaw in the Library – you cannot delete unwanted assets. They will be there forever, clogging up your list, and causing confusion, particularly if your old and new assets are very similar looking.
I have created a workaround for this problem. I will be using Firefox as my browser, and an adblocking browser extension.
Step 1: Install AdBlocker Ultimate
Install the adblocking extension from the Mozilla website.
Step 2: Open Society6
Log into Society6. Go into your Artists’ Studio page, choose an artwork, and edit a product. Choose one with very small image dimensions, like a sticker, so you can see all the files you’ve uploaded.
(If you chose a large product like the duvet, all smaller image assets would be automatically hidden.)

Step 3: Inspect Element
In the My Library panel on the left, decide on the first image you want to hide – I created a dummy one labelled ‘This is a Test’ for this demo.
Right-click this image and choose Inspect Element.
A box will pop up at the bottom of your page with a lot of HTML code.
Let’s look closer at the line you have highlighted.

We are going to copy just this line, including the double slashes at the front, to just before the ? at the end. //ctl.s6img.com/society6/img/Z7j0siAACvRzIo41VLU3kVGEj48/w_300/artwork/~artwork/s6-original-art-uploads/society6/uploads/misc/6bdde8d043fb4efdb9bf22fd6fb7e228

Step 4: Paste into Adblocker
Click the adblocker icon in the top right of your browser, and choose Settings. Then, go to the Custom Rules tab.
On a new line, paste in the URL you just copied.
It will auto-save when you stop typing.

Step 5: Back to Society6
Now we just need to get your browser to show the changes you made by refreshing it. Keep the Inspect Elements window open for now. And then, on your keyboard, press Ctrl and F5 together. This will clear the browser cache and show the changes you made.
It worked! The image has been removed, leaving a grey square.
You can now repeat steps 3-5 to remove any other unwanted images. The URLs seem to be consistent even when logging out or deleting browser cache, so as long as you have Adblocker Ultimate installed the images should stay hidden.
